Day 1: Arrive in Rio de Janeiro

Upon arrival to Rio de Janeiro, please make your way through customs and collect your baggage. Proceed to the arrivals section of the airport, where you will find a guide holding a sign with your name on it. This representative will take you to an awaiting vehicle and driver, and you will soon be en route to your hotel. After reaching your hotel, you will be assisted with check-in and will have the remainder of the day at leisure. Consider spending a bit of time on the beach but be sure to get plenty of rest as the days ahead will be action-packed!

Following your boating tour, you will return to your hotel for some time to freshen up, and in the evening, you will be en route to the Samba Parade, taking place at the iconic Sambadrome. Once you have arrived, you will be escorted to your VIP Box, where you and fellow guests will enjoy an open bar, antipasto, dinner, finger foods and dessert at The Gourmet. Taking place from roughly 9pm to 5am, there will be plenty of time to soak in the sights and sounds. After a night of celebrations, you will join a shared transfer back to your hotel, which returns in the early morning hours (between 2am and 5am).

Following breakfast, meet your English-speaking guide and driver in the hotel lobby, then set out to enjoy the most famous monument of Rio, the Corcovado Mountain with its statue of Christ the Redeemer; a must-see for visitors to the city. It is located in the Tijuca Rainforest National Park (the largest urban park in the world) and is known by the locals as the "lung of the city". Settle in for a traditional Brazilian premium barbecue at Assador Rio's Restaurant. Churrasco is a traditional southern Brazilian (and Argentinean) way of preparing meats. This is the opportunity to taste an infinite variety of meats, various side dishes and salads served continuously at your table. Later in the afternoon, travel by cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, where you toast the sunset with the incredible views. Guests will board with priority on the cable car (golden ticket), for a two-stage trip that will take them up to the Sugarloaf: the first stage, Morro da Urca and then the second stage takes one up to the Sugarloaf (395 meters), above sea level Enjoy the extraordinarily beautiful view from the Sugarloaf, undoubtedly one of the most famous monuments in the world.
